Anyone ever purchase these?

Mine are fine, just yellowed over time.

Thanks

It would be an expensive return if you had problems.😵

I could use a pair too, so, I'd love to hear feedback on this.

I bought mine from David Silver. They arrived in a week and they fit.

You are lucky with the down pipes from David Silver fit, I purchased a pair of there silencers (mufflers) in April 2015 and after contacting D,S regarding the fit so many times and being put off I also spoke to David Silver himself at the classic bike show and he had no answer for me, im still waiting 10 months down the line they are still in there box's and im some £450 out of pocket.

I think a member from here bought a set and found they exited too low, and had to modify them. I do not know if the pipes were from this seller but they were from Asia.

Exhaust pipes review

Post by PhilD » Mon Dec 21, 2015 4:46 pm

Hi, I bought a set of these exhaust pipes from Thailand. They don't have a nice smooth bend like the OEM pipes and are too long. I believe they are based on C77 pipes which are longer and tuned for the 360 single Carb engine. If you cut three inches off so that they match CB77 pipes then they will fit. Dave Silver sells exhaust pipes which look exactly the same as these and tells me his source is also in Thailand so I suspect they are the same. Dave Silver's silencers (mufflers) will also fit though the right hand side matches the left and doesn't have the cut out for the brake pedal as the original does and therefore can't be used with the footrest in the normal forward position (see pictures in my previous post about this). I've informed Dave and he tells me he will try to modify future production. I know he has modified the design from his first attempt at pattern silencers and this may explain why other forum members have silencers which don't fit.
