Side stand

I see side stands for the CBs on EBay once and a while like this one. Does anyone have experience with them? Are they an OEM option or something aftermarket? It seems like a useful addition to the bikes.

I checked parts online for the 1961 cb77 and the oem part number that I see is. Looks like it was an option.

It was, indeed, an option. There are a lot of reproductions on ebay that are just ok quality. If you get one, you’ll need longer bolts for the center stand and the lower engine mounting bolt. I have the part numbers somewhere if you want them.
