Still trying to find matching pieces for my right side ignition lock retainer and air cleaner cover latch screw.
Found a Honda305.com Honda Scrambler thread from Nov 2010 which says in part: “HONDA made a repop of the 1966/67 threaded part which using 2 screws holds the switch in place and changed the threads so no matter which plastic one ya have ya can't use it. .......lm “
I’m guessing I have the re-pop version (same part number) which is why the latch screw won’t thread on it. Is the solution to find the original (not re-pop) retainer and if so, does any forum member have a spare to part with?
Thank you!

Ps,
Referencing the above post, here’s the original Nov 2020 thread: http://www.honda305.com/forums/cl77-ign ... t6471.html

Ended up solving this by acquiring a used threaded switch retainer from a salvaged parts lot. My bike’s original air cleaner cover plastic latch nut threads on the used one like it’s supposed to. (Doesn’t thread on the NOS part).
So, there’s a bunch of NOS 35141-273-000 parts out there that won’t work unless somehow the thread pitch can be changed.
