What size is this bolt supposed to be?

Item #22, my parts book says 10X36. The hole in the frame is an 8mm tap so that can't be right and 36mm long seems way to long to hold on this little bracket.

From memory there are five 10mm bolts in this area. four of them 10 x 48, the main engine mounting bolts and the long one that goes right through the frame and oil pump casting.

I think the bolt you refer to is wrongly annotated and is probabaly supposed to be one of the four footrest bracket fixing bolts. These are also shown on page 46 under F8. These are all 8mm bolts three shown as M8 x 16mm the other M8 x 25. I think the later M8 x 25) is also an error as 25mm would be too long in this location, probably 20mm would be right or even 18mm, you need to try some for length to check.

Coming back to your original question #22 M10 x 36 has washer shown with it #28 listed as WP8 or 8mm so the bolt can't be an M10.

Thanks. I know it lists a 8 washer and 10 bolt so something is obviously listed wrong. I'll see what I have in my bolt bag for 8X16 ish.
I appreciate you guys answering the easy questions that keep me moving forward.

The longer footpeg bolt goes through the rear tab of the case guard on the left. 8X25 may not be all that much too long.
