This came up recently in the Facebook 250/305 group

First line: "KEI JIDOUSHA" - light motor vehicle
Second line: "UNYUSHOU KATASHIKI NINTEI BANGO 461" - Ministry of Transport Model Authorization Number 461.
Third line: "DORIIMU SUPAA SUPOOTSU" - Dream Super Sport CL 72 Type.

Anyone remanufacture the swingarm sticker?

Post by the-chauffeur » Sat Aug 17, 2019 8:43 am

On that note . . .

. . . I've seen someone offering remanufactured swingarm stickers for the CL77 on eBay, but the price is crazy high. Beyond that seller, are there any sources out there selling repros of the swingarm sticker?

None of which I am aware. If I recall correctly, G-Man discussed them some time ago. Perhaps he has a source.

Not sure what the question marks are in reference to . . .

. . . since the only difference between the stickers would be the model number ('72/'77) and the discussion was around the content of that same sticker, I didn't think posting the question here was too far out of place . . .

. . . but if you were wondering whether the seller makes '72 stickers as well I guess he/she can be contacted via the eBay ad.

They are to ask if you really mean CL77.
I've been involved with the CL72 bikes since and when the CL77 (1965) came along it was noticed that the CL77 didn't have the sticker and I haven't seen one on a CL77 since ................lm
