CLUTCH

Post by fatboy98 » Fri Nov 29, 2019 9:49 am

Ok so i got my 67 cl77 some what back together got it running it has not ran in 37 years. i am having a problem with the clutch i dont know if it is not adjusted right or ? so when i first got it together the clutch cable felt good pulled like a cluth should. started the bike pulled the clutch in and went to put it in gear and it went into gear and killed the motor the clutch was not working at all.so i took the side cover off and took the four bolts out of the basket and the plates were all stuck together. popped them all apart put the 4 bolts back in put side cover back on put oil in it but now the clutch pull feels like the front brake. i start the bike pull the clutch and put it in gear and the same thing happens goes right into gear and kills the motor. any help would be greatly appreciated.
