Ugly Screws on my cases! What can I do ?

Post by fab » Sat Sep 23, 2006 6:39 am

Hello all !!
Just finnishing off my Motor & The screws that hold my Alloy side cases on are pretty ugly . I have tried to buy new ones , but no luck. So I'm thinking maybe I can get the old ones Re Coated -Zinced ? / Gal ?
Does any one know what they are coated in ? Would you Recomend this . was it costly ?
I'm open to ideas on these screws. It seems a shame to spend endless days cleaning & scubbing the Alloy on the Motor clean ,only to stick these Ugly old screws back in .
/ Peter

If you're dealing with JIS thread pitches McMaster-Carr has a pretty good selection of those in the correct head type for Hondas. Cheap too! Go to www.mcmaster.com and search on JIS. They also have every other possible fastener too...
Matt

Also into Alfa Romeo Giuliettas and Giulias! Looking for a Giulia Super.
