I have a Honda I am not for sure what year it is I couldnt find a indentification number all I found was the motor number I don't know if this will tell much about the year of this machine it is CA77E-1008428 I need to know what year this is so I can restore it please if anyone can help I would be greatfull thank you

Lay on the ground, have a flashlight handy and look behind the drivers footpeg (the left side of the bike if you were sitting on it) and be patient. The numbers are on the frame (vertically) and you need to stare a bit before you can see them.

thanks for the reply I found the frame number it is CA78-1006422 can you tell what year this is

The only thing I can tell you is that they went to a 7 digit serial in 1965. That is according to the Bill Silver book available on this site. I bouight one and it has a lot of important info such as...Honda didn't wait for new year models to make changes so always order your parts by serial number. Good luck!<br /><br />Ron

would you know where I can find a wiring diagram all my wires in the head light housing are all loose I have no clue where they all hook to thanks agian for the reply<br />

I picked uip a Clymer manual on eBay for around $20 and it has wiring diagrams in it. My scanner is down so I can't send the diagrams to you. Do a search on the net and especially eBay. You will need one...or a factory manual if you are lucky enough to find one. <br />R.
