installing a superhawk tach on a ca77 motor

Post by cmineo » Mon Mar 13, 2017 8:58 am

is it easy to just bolt on a tach gear from a superhawk cb77 onto a Honda 305 dream motor? does it work the same?

I want to use an original mechanical tach on my 305 dream motor

You would need a CB77 camshaft with the tach drive, but that is phased differently (180 rather than 360 firing order) and has a different lift. All possible with engineering tools but maybe not worth the effort.
