Just bought this Honda 305 Dream and don't know what or where to start verifying what I have. The title says Vin CA781027011~~~~~the motor number is CA77E--1026883~~and the title says it is a 1967 Bike. Does this sound correct? Where do I find the frame stamped serial number?
The bike was originallly red but professional repainted Black. Has round mufflers, flat rear shocks, the headlight has the emplem under the light. Add on turn signals clamped to the handlebars.
Before I get a new battery and try to start it, are there certain weak links I should check out before I start messing with it?? The odometer shows 16,000 miles. The overall condition seems pretty decent--gas tank internal looks new---tank decals say HONDA not DREAM ? Aftermarket??
Does this site have any manuals on line for research??
