According to the parts search on cycle parts Nation the parts no.'s look like this:

SkU: 13101-427-003 (Honda code 0711713) standard piston.

I looked it up and the XL1982s had bore and stroke of 63.0mm X 57.8mm and the 305 had
60.0mm X 54.0mm so... hmm. How much displacement increase would you get from a 3mm bore increase, can anybody do the math, it gives my old brain an ache.

Displacement

I think a 3 mm overbore on a 60 x 54 bore/stroke will give you 337 cc (bore is actually 63 cc)

Beatrice Cycle sells ATC185 STD piston kits 63mm with rings and wrist pins/clips for $56 http://www.dratv.com/stdpikitaton.html
I don't know how this compares to the XL185 piston that was discussed earlier in the post.
