I haven't restored mine yet, but we can trade stories, parts, etc! Yours is the first I've seen with the square signals! I have the parts manual, shop manual, etc. Great bike! Paul

You have a good motorcycle mine it´s not restored yed but i have the siren and the front bumper ,and of course the stay patrol light, red color was made it for the fire department in Bolivia, Sud America

About this putting XL185 Pistons in 305 did you have to change the rod or other parts?
what was CC displacement after the bore job?

P.S. Forgot to say what A great bike you have there and now that I have my 68 305 Dream tore apart your bike gives me some ideas I would like to use like the seat and luggage rake.

Hello Clarenceada answering your question i not change nothing only the pistons because i cant find the original size for my 305 thas all the information the bore was change to fix the new pair of pistons and the rod is the original some little change in your carbs the jet nedle two sizes more mine was 105 and now it´s 107 more or less, i hope i help you thanks.

Thanks for the info; sounds like it would be a cheap way to up the displacement of a 305, especially
since I have a used one already, wonder where I could get another one?
