Scram, thanks, but that's a series II version. You can tell by the step-sided tank, narrow low seat, reclining stone guard, frame downtubes to bottom front engine mounts, and shield-shaped right side engine cover. There's a series I from the Seevert gallery below, but it's either a drawing or a rendered photo. --Randall

Ton Up Club-Florida AHRMA #500 Road Race #G50 Cross Country Finally found a photo of the right side of a series I CR72. It's a factory publicity photo from late 1962, so shows the original condition. Note the flat-sided megaphones, quite different from the series II which had a round cross-section. There were almost no interchangeable parts between the two types of engines, and the two frames differed in virtually every dimension. Yet they were all produced only for the 1963 race season.
