well here are two shots of the crack what do you guys think i should do?
A. nothing
b. strip the engine and sell the 360 crank with the head for someone that wants one.
c. have it welded up

Actually an easy fix.
Remove the chip.
make sure the knock/locater pin is down into the bearing as far as it should be.
Apply enough J.B. Weld to hold the chip with a little extra on the outside. ...............lm

Ed your crackin me up! I did that very thing in Thumpers picture just recently. Don't know how...I was being careful, but things happen. Used JB weld over and into the chip, then used a punch to drive the chip back down. But also a bit of it into the guide pin hole base but not enough to keep the pin shoulder from staying high. then I got real smart and beveled the guide pin hole, applied some heat and oil resistant compound and slid it in to the exact depth. Maybe overkill but I was concerned it would leak. Thanks for the lesson. I think I did it as right as I could.

And it looks as though the drive sprocket retainer is welded on in those pics. Good luck Thumper.

sprocket is not only welded but it is also welded to a extension shaft of a few inches to kick it out some
