tanks/seat for CB77?

Post by eglicomet » Mon Oct 15, 2012 12:14 pm

Hello all,
I'm new to the list and just acquired CB77 that I would like to build an AHRMA/USCRA bike out of. Can anyone tell me what tank/seat options are available?
Thank you,
eglicomet

Hi EgliComet

Welcome to the forum!

Are you sure your name isn't Vincent? :-)

I am on the other side of the Pond where there are quite a few racer bits for these bikes.

These guys have some nice Honda "GP Style" parts.

I'm sure that there are equivalents in the US

G,
Thank you very much for the warm welcome. Those links are excellent.
Anyone Stateside selling bits as well? I'm privy to Airtech, etc. and have purchased a dozen or so 4LS hubs from Howard at Disco Volante (excellent fellow to deal with!) over the last couple of years. I also deal with Evan Wilcox quite a bit for bodywork for my boss' collection. The small Honda is new territory to me though so I thought I'd enquire.
Thank again,
eglicomet

You're welcome. After those 4LS hubs the CB77 will be a cinch - financially anyway :-)

I have an alloy tank from Peter Keyte and a seat from Ken Halliwell vetromani-1@tiscali.co.uk
for my CB77 'racer' project. Mine is going to be a road / trackday bike based on the look of a 'CB93 street'.

Rather like this.....

Hi G,

Nice bike, here a CB93, I like the styling. Indeed a nice example for building a road going bike.

That's a nice little bike. Honda should have built something like that instead of the Dream 50.
