Velocity stacks

Post by raspberry » Tue Jan 14, 2014 9:32 am

I am restoring a racer right now, for the track. I am missing the velocity stacks. Do you think I could get a tracing of your one stack, or even better could I borrow it? I will return it with two reproductions if so. If you're interested, please send me a PM!

Thanks,

Ian McQueen

velocity stacks

Post by bikedoctor99 » Mon Jan 20, 2014 8:32 pm

Hey Bill!
Very nice bike!
I have the very same ones under my yetman tank (tanner made) and bought them in '68.
They were available from Webco in Ca.
I'm also in need of a 2nd pair for 26 mm carbs, so let me know Ian.

Allen,
Tannermatic bodywork is top notch, isn't it? That's his tank and seat on my bike as I'm sure you know.
My Yetman had those velocity stacks and some original lumpy cam in it. Don't know the manufacturer but its in this bike. Now if I can just keep the combustion chamber skulls from leaking oil we'll be all set!

Thanks, Bill, I may take you up on that later but right now I am hoping to repro the curved "kit" stacks. I'd like to know what shocks those are, though?

I spoke to the guy carpenter793 bought this CYB racer from today, he had a craigslist ad up for his cb tracker and the photo was old because in the background was this cyb racer. He said he got it for free originally. Two sets of those clip on triple cyb bridges and a ton of other misc parts. I let him know what he had was really worth, he couldn't believe it.
