seeking a race triple tree yoke cap

Post by cmineo » Fri Mar 03, 2017 10:06 pm

im looking for a vintage race top yoke for my cyb77 replica racer project.... i like the yamaha sr400 looking type but im not sure it fits on a stock cb77 triple tree ... is there any triple tree top caps that will bolt on to a stock cb77 triple tree?? im using vintage clip ons and need to keep the vintage feel, not a new cnc milled style .... do any italian caps work? just curious

you're using the stock CB77 forks correct?

They have a taper in them at the top so you're going to be incredibly limited in regards to what uppers bolt right up.

Do you want one with speedo hoop or without?

MMmmm Nice. I have that in my watch item at the moment. Can only dream. I will make one up that fits on the handle bar bracket , as they haven't been chopped off and ground down.
