Rear Shock Upgrade

Post by Mucci » Thu Dec 12, 2013 10:25 pm

Has anyone had any success with upgrading the rear shocks on a CA95?

I've been seeing that there are some Honda models that also use a 10.5" shock.
The CRF50 for instance uses a 10.5" mono shock with a 350 lbs/in spring rate.

I'm wondering what the options are as I'd like to move away from the square shock design.

Talk to Dave Quinn and see if he can fix you up.

I got these 11" generic shocks from dime city cycles, you have to trim your existing rubber bushings to get them to fit and use spacers at the top (eye) to make it fit properly. It feels OK but i have yet to ride the bike with them.

Do you think you can post a further back pic of them on the bike? Looks nice from that pic
