Early Dream wiring harness question

Post by Paul Strassmaier » Fri Mar 09, 2012 12:05 am

My 1961 CS72 has a black wiring harness. It looks factory, but I expected it to be gray. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks, Paul

Yes, it's got a tag that says 1962. There were actually two wiring harnesses, two rectifiers, etc. stuffed in the bike. Not sure what the plan was there... Maybe they were doing that NASCAR thing in case one ignition system failed... the other harness doesn't have a tag and I assume it's the original 61.

BTW, was at a friends house last night and he picked up a 1960 C72 in rough condition, another one of those "A" serial numbers...
