How to post pics in the thread without attaching them!

Hey Newbies, Old Timers, and Friends,

So let me tell you how you can post pictures INSIDE the thread instead of attaching the picture to the message...

Step 1: Open a Flickr Account
Step 2: Upload the images you want to post to that Flickr account
Step 3: Find the image in your Flickr account that you want to post
Step 4: Click on "Share This" in the grey top navigation bar
Step 5: Click on Grab the HTML/BBCode and elect to get the "BBCODE" on the bottom radio button
Step 6: Copy the HTML in the box and simply paste it in your message

Note: Do NOT use the "IMG" button in the Forum posting tool - its not necessary, just copy and paste the HTML from FLICKR BBCODE and it will appear on the forum in the thread insteaf, not as an attachement.

The pros? Its higher resolution and it does not need the user to download it... ;)

I think the point of attaching the pictures is that they're preserved on the forum for as long as it is up. They're always there for reference to help others regardless of if you're flickr accoutn or photobucket is still working.

yes, and others own and operate private servers ! Apache and FTP Linux, is brainless easy.
so attach from them.

flicker we call it fickler out.! LOL

most forums are rife with dead flicker outs. (and like kinds)
i have over 10,000 posts on some ENGINE forums, 5+ years.
so am well aware of the cons.
the only pro is , what? 1 click?
