Powdercoating?

I just powder coated everything including the tank. We used a 90% gloss black and silver with a clear powder coat. The coating came out really nice. Actually looks better than the previous paint to my eyes.

But be careful with powder coating some of the thinner parts. My side covers, fork ears, and lower fork covers all warped pretty bad. Not sure if this is common, or if the coater just baked it too hot.

Yes u can powder a tank..
Powder is negative charge, part is grounded, excess neg ions look to neutral so it attracts to ground..
Mine is all powder on tank and fendersand covers base clear oem powder.
