Original Paint

Post by puglet01 » Mon Nov 01, 2004 11:47 am

I have what I believe is a 65 305 Dream. It's painted a medium blue. Does anyone know where I can find paint codes or paint formulas to match the original colors?

i'm sorry, i can't help you with that, but i have learned from filling up my first tank that modern gas will ruin old paint. this might be common knowledge, but be careful if you were't aware.

if the original paint is still somewhat intack , buf it out and take it to a REAL auto parts store and have them "shoot" it with their computer/camera/paint/thing...they will come up with a paint code

oh . yeah..then buy the guy a beer
