Buco sadlebags repaint or not

Post by cfsharpjr » Sun Sep 02, 2012 9:13 pm

Hello,
I am working on restoring our CB77 that has been in the family since bought in 1969 the question I have is regarding the Buco sadlebags on the bike. They are dull and have chipped paint, will it destroy their value to have them repainted. They are the white color, any idea what the paint code number might be.

im debating repainting mine, they are so hard to fine i very much doubt restoring them will hurt the value, if anything it will increase.

heres a pic of mine, now. Im going to repaint, and re chrome the latches.
