Paint Code Help BLUE and GREEN !!!!!!!Good grief people!
I know it's not April yet but surely you can spot a bit of British humour!!! I actually spelt humour the British way as it's more funny than humor....... The Aussies get it...... I'm wasted (and I don't mean intoxicated) here ...... :-) In an earlier post I was using humor to illustrate that painting a Dream in anything but stock color would detract from its value - unless etc. etc..... Good stuff! I was trying to think of the CL77 that was owned by Jim Morrison(?) and was up for sale at $22,000. It had a horrible (IMO) swirly green paint job...... Imagine buying that for $22k. You's have to explain to everybody who laughed - "It was owned by Jim Morrison, you know....". And that would make the extra $22 grand seem OK..... :-) G '60 C77 '60 C72 '62 C72 Dream '63 CL72

I'm with you on that. Unless, perhaps, it had six cylinders and was last ridden by Mike Hailwood. Do you remember John Cooper (not the Mini Man)? He was a local road racer who rode a BSA Rocket 3 at various races (Anglo American Match Races) in the 1970s. He beat Giacomo Agostini at Mallory Park and was quite a local hero. http://daveinnola-bsabitsscrapsandallso ... ooper.html I bought a BSA Bantam from him and restored it. So I actually had a "John Cooper BSA" for a while...... G '60 C77 '60 C72 '62 C72 Dream '63 CL72
