Color 1968 CL77

Post by renoman » Thu Jul 05, 2012 8:51 pm

I have a 1968 Aqua colored CL77. I read in some other posts that the bike should be black frame and silver tank, covers...... I've been looking at a number of sites with body components for the 68 CL77 and found a number of others with this same color. So, did they produce this bike in 68 in different colors other then silver. A local retired honda dealer says yes, but have found nothing else indicating the same? Thanks ...

Yes, there were some late Candy Blue and Candy Burnt Orange CL77s produced. I had an orange one at one time. Bill Silver's book indicates frame CL77-1056084 and up.
