White CB77 Paint versus Powdercoat

Post by prima5star » Mon Aug 14, 2006 4:39 pm

Anyone care to rant and rave about the benefits of one over the other? I am thinking of trying powder coating for the frame and swing arm of my recently acquired white CB77.

I had mine powder coated

I work for a manufacturing company that makes equipment for gas stations. All our equipment is powder coated and after years of being exposed to all kinds of weather, gas, diesel and the human factor it is superior to the wet painting process. Our competitor wet paints their equipment and after 3 - 4 years their equipment looks like heck.

If you want to provide me with your email address I will send you pictures of my 1966 Dream that was powder coated 2 years ago.
