Speedometer Restoration - How to remove bezel?

I have an extra speedometer from a Honda Dream CA160... I want to take this apart to clean and restore it. I have no idea how the chrome bezel is removed. Here is a picture of what I have:

Do a search for speedo restoration and all will be revealed. Essentially you prize it up very carefully and slowly with a flat screwdriver. The emphasis is on slow and patient.

Thanks for the info. I will do some other research. Got nothing but time in my basement during these winter months ahead... I'll post some pics when I am done. Do you have any general links you visit or is this a common procedure? Why type of glue is used to hold that bezel on?

No glue on the bezel.

I just worked it out for myself but there is a good guide on this site if you search for it.

When I was done I used clear silicone to seal the outer trim ring to the glass. There was some ancient white chalky crap on there that just disintegrated when I opened up the case.

I plan on doing something similar... the sealant on mine was breaking apart and was chalky as well. I think the silicone will hold up much better
