FOOT PEG RUBBER LOGOS

Post by FAST FRED » Fri Mar 23, 2012 8:07 pm

This is the most anal question I have ever asked the forum to help me out with. While looking at my 65 CL77 restoration, I noticed the rear footpeg rubbers could be installed two different ways. One way the Honda logo reads from the front and the othe way it reads from the back. My 65 has one each way. Was there a correct way they were installed at the factory or were they installed randoomly some one way and others another?

Hmm, I haven't thought about it myself.
You stand at the front of the bike to read the words.
(both sides) on my 66 Dream. Don't know for sure
that they are original and still as from the factory.

On my '62 and '63 Dream you read them correctly while standing in back, I'm pretty sure it's original on both.
