1963 Honda 55 Rectifier Wiring

Post by Rugo » Mon Feb 11, 2019 10:49 am

Hello All,

This is my first post here on honda305 forum. Thank you in advance for your help, guidance, advice and mostly for your patience with me.

I have recently acquired our family's 1963 Honda 55 C105. It was parked in one of our barns for over 40 years. During that time, it was never started and people helped themselves to a number of the parts. My goal is to do a total restoration. I just recently installed a battery. After the install, I am left with two white wires. Both slightly different gauges. Both have bullet male connectors on on them. The one that comes off the rectifier, has a 1/4 inch yellow band wrapped around it. The other comes from a different part of the wiring loom. Can anybody share with me, where these wires are supposed to plug into? And, what their purpose is?

Thank you for your time and efforts.

Rugo
