I Have no skill or knowledge in mechanics but am researching currently how to do restorations.

I am going to order the Bill Silvers restoration books soon, I was just hoping to get pointed in the right direction on where to source good information from.

Cheers,

ill try and attach some pictures soon.
bought second hand by my father ridden for 5 or so years then it sat in a shed for 20-30 years. The kickstart moves with some friction so i understand that means the engine isnt seized there is a little bit of rust in the tank (ive looked at a few removal videos using pennys of sand and distilled water) and there is still oil in it so i hope that bodes well.

This forum is the best place you could ever find for information. Do buy the Bill Silver's CD. They are invaluable. The best thing you could do is find your favourite beverage and sit down and read through posts about the Dream and any procedures for solving issues. They have been discussed in great detail over and over. If you put the effort in to build your knowlege base then it will go better for you with your Dream. Regards and welcome.
