Interesting take on a SuperHawk. Just curious -- most of the bike is so nicely finished, but the forks, hmm not so much. Since you removed the fork covers - and since they are unfinished underneath the covers - had you considered either refinishing them or having them remade so that the exposed part was finished (I do realize that you were working within a specific budget)? Frank's Engineering makes finished fork tubes for the CB77, and I don't think they cost more than about $350 (they are slightly shorter, but really you'd never notice). Might be something to consider down the road.
Also curious -- how does that exposed stator do, exposed to the elements?
I'm a traditionalist, and I don't tend to care for classic bikes that have been heavily modified. I prefer to to see those classic lines and accents retained and either brought back or left original (that Cafe Racer show on Velocity really rankles my menopause.. :) ) However. Gorgeous, just gorgeous. Your bike's uniformity is striking, everything about it's design features are related in some way, you stuck to a theme and then executed it beautifully. I have to agree with Vince about the front forks, they seem "off" from the rest of the bike. However, congratulations are in order, it's just amazing!
