I think its just about done, 3 months ago I knew nothing at all about the CB77.
ALL gained from you experts on this forum, thanks guys.

awesome! there is some real slick work in there! i wish this was in the form of a long drawn out build thread for my reading pleasures. great work. very cool work on the fender and guard.

The plug is carved from pattern-making foam, then a heavy fibreglass mould is made from that, then a light fibreglass mudguard/fender from that, the good bit is that now I have the mould, any number can be quickly & cheaply produced again!!

I can't remember who, but someone asked about the colour, well its made from white gel-coat/GRP this was wet & dry sanded matt, grey primed, then 2-pack satin silver painted.

That restore is masterful. I'm really impressed with the manufacture of parts and it motivates me to create parts of my own rather than just buying them.
