Harbor FRIGHT Bike Lift!!!

Post by barnbiketom » Thu Mar 30, 2017 9:57 am

I wholeheartedly RECOMMEND this bike lift. It raises a bike 32 inches off the ground, and has lock pins, and takes up no space..
In this pic, it is only halfway up, but perfect with my swivel tool seat!!
ALSO it can be used to lift the front of my lawn tractor off the ground for blade maintenance....
I've lifted a Vulcan 1500 with no problems altho i used the safety straps on that one lol...

Led!!

Post by barnbiketom » Fri Mar 31, 2017 9:43 am

I decided on a $10.00, 800 lumen LED H4 bulb. I had converted to a unit from an xs400, although any 6 3/8" H4 assembly will fit perfectly into the Cl77 headlight rim.
This style bulb has a built-in heatsink and fan?? Inside the headlight, not on the back so there is clearance, but you still need to bend flat the terminals and make a new Spade connector harness adapter, so it clears the speedo cable!

This style bulb has high ratings all over the 'net and some sellers are getting $25 bucks, but I saw it for $9.99 so I figured I'd try it. It is blindingly bright white and low beam and high beam gives two distinct levels at 25 feet when aiming. I haven't ridden it at night but I'll post my findings..But you will really be noticed in the day!!!!!!!!
BEWARE the el cheepo h4 LEDs all over the place. they are dimmer than a candle unless they have a remote power supply and a fan..
