CB160 Kill Switch

Post by csw6279 » Fri May 25, 2012 7:57 pm

I wanted to post this so everyone could benefit from this knowledge.

[quote="hishairisred"]Hey CSW,
Its pretty simple, you need to run a two wire cable from the switch, through the bars, down the headstock and under the tank along the frame to the fuse behind the battery.
cut the wires on the end of the fuse between the fuse and the ignition switch, and strip the cable, then attach bullet connectors to both ends. then open up the dimmer switch box or the two wires of any switch box, and strip the cables. attach bullet connectors to those wires and the wire that runs through the frame. attach the bullet connectors on both ends and you've got a kill switch.
I've attached a quick diagram for you, let me know if you have any other questions.
