1967 305 CL77 Engine

I rebuilt top end, reassembled motor and reinstalled on bike.
I may have failed to install the 2 locator pins that connect between cylinder head and cylinder.
Can I get enough room by to install the 2 pins (11x16 mm) by separating the cylinder & heads on the bike without removing the motor from the frame?
