Hi LM

Engine is not siezed, it will turn over fine on the rotor bolt. It will just not turn on the kickstart. ( I am kicking it the right way).
So looks like I will have to strip down. Can you split the crankcase without removal of barrel/ head?

Yep. Turn the thing upside-down and you can just take off the bottom cover. Don't forget the two studs in the 'valley'. The clutch and gear selector have to come off.

Thanks LM,
I did put it in neutral but gear selection also seems difficult so I will check again when I take the clutch out.
