JIS tools required for '63 Dream?

Post by leylandauto » Sun Dec 16, 2018 4:57 pm

Ive taken possession of a friend's 1963. The motor is complete but separate from the bike. manuals will be ordered very soon. in what parts of the bike are these screwdrivers used? I just need to know if I need to order a set. My back ground is old British cars and bikes so, the early Japanese stuff is not terribly foreign to me.
Thanks,
Carl French

Ideally - you will need a set of three screwdrivers fro the case screws and a few others around th ebike for M6,M5,M4 and M3 screws.

In reality, you can probably get away with the M6 (main case screws) and one for the M4/M5s

I have a set of three Motion Pro T-Handle screwdrivers but this looks a good compromise.
