I need a little help with the removal of the cams and cam sprocket from my CB77.
I lifted the top end off of the motor without having freed the lock nut on the cam sprocket while the chain was still attached.
So, is a block of wood wedged against the teeth of the sprocket my best bet for creating some resistance so I can knock on the nut with a screwdriver? Any better ideas?
Also, just to clarify, since the nut on the cam sprocket has left hand threads I am turning it to the right to loosen it (as the arrow in the photo indicates). Correct?
Thanks,
nander
