If you use CB77 pistons in a CA77 engine you will decrease the compression which will lower the power some. ...........lm

After HONDA lowered the compression (lower dome) early in production the domes of the CA77 and CB/CL77 pistons have the same height from the wrist pin.
The visible difference is the CB/CL77 piston is machined around the top edge where the CA77 is a full Hemi (dome) on the top. ............lm

I have very little experience with Dream motors. Are the Dream pistons much different to the Superhawk? I never checked, but always assumed that the CB pistons would have taller domes for higher CR.
Sounds like that may not be the case.
