Before I got into refreshing my motor/transmission this winter I had looked thru a number of the postings here showing pictures and drawings of the transmission but I never really got a handle on just how the power was routed thru the gears. Now that I got into my transmission and see whats connected to what it finally makes sense. Just in case there are other newbies out there I thought I'd post the photos of the power train for the various gears.
George
P.S. 4th gear is in the next posting

Hello Everyone
The best thing about this site is the amount of info for all "ages"/experience, so thanks to George and all the others who post this kind of stuff for everyone to see.
Also if you follow the diagram's you will understand why Honda fitted direct boxes to nearly everything they made thereafter. Still thats what being a "enthusiast" is all about and probably why there is so much on the site about changing the gearboxes?
Thanks again.
