I really hope that I don't have to pull the head off but I guess we'll see. How tight did you go on the head nuts? It seems that quite a few people have this issue and I'm wondering about how many people do as you did with some sort of sealant. I will post my results after I torque to 22. If that doesn't work I may try 25.

I had a leaker too after multiple passes at 15 ftlbs. Let it set a couple days and retorqued again before install. To be honest I just snugged em with a wrench after a couple run cycles due to the lack of access with a socket on the inner nuts. I dare say I took em another full turn at least. But no more drips on the floor.

All good advice here. I went through the same thing as Goodysnap and the leaks stopped. I think I torqued to 18-19lbs, then with the slight leak after a good running, letter cool down and hit it with an open end the next day just a tad and voila!

Well I torqued to 22 then thought to myself I should just go to 25 to be safe. So I put it all back together and ran it last night and it still leaked. I could actually see a few tiny bubbles coming out along with the oil seepage. So I'm pulling the engine and getting a new gasket. I will put a light film of hylomar on the gasket surfaces so this will not happen again. My question is where can I order an OEM head gasket from?

Thanks for the advice everyone. I really do appreciated it. So I pulled my cylinder head off tonight and immediately noticed quite a bit of oil from the two outboard rear studs. Does this sound normal? I put the o-rings on the front outboard studs. Should I have put them on the aft ones? I thought the oil galleys were the two front outboard ones. I'm confused. Anyone care to explain and give some pointers?

The o-rings go on the front studs, there are larger holes in the head gasket that they sit in. I like to put a thin film of Hondabond on those o-rings. If you have an 8x1.25 die, run it down the studs to clean up the threads, makes for a more even torque.
