450 head on 305450 head on 305Is there a site that goes into detail about what is involved in installing a 450 top end on a 305?
Pete Rhodes in the UK did that trick a few years ago. It's not complicated - a little welding and drilling to move all the studs and open up the crankcase mouths.
Pistons that size tend to come with larger pin and that means a different crank & Rods or at least a crank rebuild to take different rods and that's manageable with a full machine shop.
I remember seeing that one on her or somewhere online. Lot of work, but quite the build. Also saw once, where someone put a Suzuki Top End on a CB77 as well. I Think it was a GS400 top end? Now that I would like to look back into both of those, I don't know where to find them.

Les Barker of Vancouver, WA did much of the machine work to adapt the the GS400 top end to the CB cases. I remember talking with him at the time of the modifications for Ellis. Dick Johnson
