Clutch Spring Differences CA77Clutch Spring Differences CA77I now have two different size clutch springs to choose from, which is for what? (With metal core fiber plates)

I got the shorter ones from Loud Mouse with the metal core friction plates/steel plates as a set, and he recommended them over the longer ones I removed with my old all fiber frictions, so I will use them.
Silvers book specifies spring tension of 30-40 lbs but gives no units.......lbs per what?.....inch,... cenitmeter?? Silver also mentions using CB 750 K springs, and I have a bunch of them but they are SOHC and are much longer. 66 dream, 78 cb750k, 02fz1, 09 wing
They are a bit longer and thinner diameter than the 810 springs and I'd sure like to know what issue they are.
I do find them (painted white end) in all the original Cush Drive clutches and the pull in my opinion is perfect. I have a gauge which reads pounds pressure as I compress the spring. Well I measured the total distance the spring is collapsed when correctly installed. I then measured 3 different styles of the springs HONDA used over the years at that length. At the exact length of each spring the pressures were the same. ?????????????????? Bill Silver was here when I did this. Pull pressure may be caused by Coil Bind!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????? I do know that the White End Springs are the best I've ever used and that's why I recommend them. ..........lm
Give me a hint on the (Apropos of nothing) teazer.
How much longer than the originals?. ........lm
