Serial number

Post by kevinral » Tue Apr 13, 2010 8:40 pm

I recently obtained a Dream 305 and I am wondering what year it was made. The motor serial number is CA77E-312153. I have yet to locate the frame serial number. This will be a restoration project and I am very excited. Can anyone help?

I'm no dream man but I think you will find your VIN on the left side near the foot peg. Hope that's right for ya.
BTW-----Welcome to this forum, I know you will find a wealth of info here.

Hi,

Welcome to the forum, I think you can find all info you want on this site.
If it's not there, just ask, most of the time so,someone will reply.

The engine serial number says it's a 1963 model.
There's tag on the main wiring harness, on that tag there also a year or production, it will say 1963, probably. The year on the paperwork can differ from the year the bike was made, or imported.

Do you have a tubular handlebar, or the plate steel version ?

Can you place some pictures of the bike ?
