allmost done

Post by dreaming56 » Sat Mar 06, 2010 12:04 pm

Good Day,
I am allmost done the 305 and would like to show you what it looks like to date. I would like thank all of you for the input and Mike for all his help. I have driven it and any time I stop I have to answer questions and listen to people who had one or had freinds that did, it's a riot. I recently got a chrome front fender guard that'not on it but will change the looks again. anyway thanks alot and I'll keep you posted

Stan

Very nice! I was planning on doing most of what you have done . I am worried that the single seat might not allow enough leg room for me though. Well Done. Jeff H.

seat

Post by dreaming56 » Sun Mar 07, 2010 11:37 am

I am 5ft-10" and it fits me, I had to make my own seat and bracket to put the seat where I wanted it. I know it's not original but since I am going to ride the bike I wanted it to be comfy. I have the motor down right know because it had a small leak on the head gasket from when I redid it last winter. It will be ready for spring( so will I).

Stan, what a lovely looking machine! Nice work. I'm hoping to find a C/CA77/78 before I get too old, but I want to finish CB first.....

i powder coat my engines but involves a complete tear down in order to bake the finish on the cases cylinder and head a tough durable finish unlike paint that fades eventually and not to mention chips i know look for my posting in the restoration projects under busaken and you can look at the pics of a powdercoated engine
