Keys - Buy or Build?

Post by Dr. Frankenstein » Sat Feb 16, 2019 6:29 pm

Which would be less expensive - BUY a key for my CA77 ignition, or take it to a locksmith and have one made? OR - just get a go-cart keyed ignition on the 'Bay for $6?

Or what are you using...?

I guess the cost is about the same, yes...?

The stock switch serves as the headlight on/off switch and engages additional charging coils when the headlight is on.
Best not to try and replace it with a simpler switch type.
Some ebay vendors supply keys matched to the lock number, or a member may have a matching key?

The number on the ignition is T0644, if that helps.
