Correct plugs for my Dream

Post by casamere » Sun Mar 17, 2019 12:09 pm

After rebuilding my 66 CA77 I fitted NGK D8HA but now I am reading the correct plug is D6HS,
Can someone put this to bed for me and confirm which I should be using. Thanks.

At times with these bikes we find things that work are a bit different than originally recommend.
The D8 will and does work well and is a bit easier to get. .................lm

From what I see of the plug they show.
If you install it "you will bend the intake valves as that pic shows a LONG THREAD PLUG!. ..............................

I 've used both in my dreams, I seen no difference. The 6's are a little hotter they say.

To be clear...I've only used D8ha and D6ha.
