footpeg bracket

Post by Bert96 » Mon Aug 19, 2019 2:09 pm

I'm slowly but surely collect parts for my cb77 and the other day, i was looking at my footpeg brackets, they have small cracks in them. So i start to search for a good set but they all seem to have the same problem....

So,i was wondering if someone have ever tried to make new one? homemade sandcast maybe!?

Back when these bikes were new aluminium welding was close to Black magic, nowadays a decent welding shop should be able to weld up the cracks for you, finding good used ones won't be easy and will most likely cost you plenty of $$$.
