How many years was the bike unregistered? More than 2 but less than the 7 that are reported to be the magic number for dropping out of the dmv computers?

Still wearing it's 1986 tag. DMV stated the last time it was on the system was 1992. I've heard about things dropping off the DMV computer ...

Honda used a 6 digit number, and then 7 digits in 65. If you replaced your upper engine case with a new one from Honda, it would not have #s stamped in to it. The CA77E looks like a Honda stamping, while the 909 deos not. What does the title say?
