I've started by spraying Kroil in the cylinders every few hours for the past several days. Nothing yet. That and/or mystery oil has usually done the trick for me.
I've never tried to open a crank case to free a seized motor. I suppose this is another method, though?

Cost of a good rebuild?
I've rebuilt quite a few older cycles and yesterday I went and looked at a '66 CL77. This seems like it would be a really fun project, but it's so much older than any bike I've ever worked on before that I want to be sure I know what I'm getting into.
